Caribbean cookbook author and host of Tasty Tuesday's Chris De La Rosa , shows you his simple but amazing recipe for what can only be described as the best way to season, marinate and grill chicken wings. With the use of fresh herbs, the slight kick from scotch bonnet peppers and the citrus base of limes, you'll be amazed at this Caribbean style of marinating chicken wings which also happens to be gluten free. Then the wings are grilled slowly over a charcoal flame for a wonderful smoky flavor. Note, these can also be done on a propane grill or in your oven.

For this grilled chicken wings recipe you'll need…

4 lbs chicken wings
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup olive oil
3 limes (juice)
3 scallions
1/2 cup cilantro (chopped)
1/2 cup parsley (chopped)
2 shallots
4 cloves garlic
2 thick slices ginger
2 scotch bonnet peppers (no seeds)
8-10 sprigs thyme
1 heaping tablespoon honey

* Optional – Lemon or pineapple juice
